    Re: Training costs

    Thank you again.

I have asked for a breakdown of all financial costs within the letter they sent so i will just wait and see

This may help, as i was looking through old paper work, i came across a letter regarding the training clause. I cant remember what i asked but the letter was issued before i signed the 2nd contract.

    see below,

"please be advised that section 18, regarding training this does not refer to your aprenticship. In this instance please refer to your origional offer letter which asks for a two year commitment to ..... on compleation of your aprenticship course."

Also to add insult to injury they are going after any damage to my van. They know that the bumper is cracked as ive reported it. Would they need a dedicated clause to say i have to pay for it?

    Thanks again

What is section 18? Is that a part of the 2nd contract with items (A) - (D)?

Would they need a dedicated clause to say I have to pay for it?
Yep! I believe a dedicated consent clause is required for everything bar the items noted in section 14. You employer had the right to discipline you at the time or add such a clause in your contract if such an event was envisaged.

all i have in my vehicle policy about accidents are as follows.

Do i need to pay for two missing hub caps and a bumper?

What is fair wear and tear?

          what is neglectful driving?

          5) "The company will cover the cost of maintenance and repairs to the vehicle providing it is deemed fair wear and tear or general servicing works"

          9) "Please treat the conpany vehical with respect, failure to do so will not be tolerated"

          10) All damage or accidents involving the company vehicle must be reported to the main office immediately, regardless of blame. Any damage caused through neglectful driving will be the responsibility of the employee and will not be covered by the company vehicle insurance.
