  • Off work due to stress ?

Hi I've been off work for a week and half due to work related stress but now my emploer (Royal mail) are saying I have to come in for a meeting to see if theres any other jobs I can do and if i dont attend the interview they will stop my wages, can they do this ? I've always thought if a doctor has signed you off then you dont have to go in no matter what ? any help would be gratefully appreciated
