    Hi,
    can anyone explain in a simple way the difference between direct and indirect discrimination relating to maternity please?

    My understanding of this is;

    Direct Discrimination is when you are being singled out ie you are treated differently because you are pregnant.

    Indirect Discrimination is when you fall within a group that is being singled out ie all pregnant people are treated differently and you fall into that group because you are pregnant.
