    Terminated contract

    I just got sacked whilst on maternity is this even legal? They sent a letter to my parents pub where I used to live where a member of staff signed for it and placed it out the back so I only received it today a week late in the letter it said a meeting was arranged obviously I missed this and only got the information I rang work immediately and they said they had sent out another letter termination my contract as I had moved address and not given them my new details!!

    That sounds very odd! :confused2: What was the reason given for terminating your employment?

      And yes i agree, this does sound very odd, or very suspicious on the employers part.
