I am 16 years old and in June I started working for this company, the contact, a zero hour contract, stated that I would be paid the 9th of the next month for the whole months pay. After a short while, I realised that this job wasn't for me so I quit but when 9th July came around, they didn't pay me. So I contacted them and they said that they hadn't processed my form but they will do now so I would get paid on August 9th but again, they didn't pay me. I contacted them again, telling them the shifts I worked, and they said that they would check the records then pay me on the 9th of September. Can they do this? Is there anyway that I can demand that they pay me now because I need the money for Saturday. Is there any laws that can force them to pay me now?
I still haven't been paid.

Re: I still haven't been paid.
1. Sue them; or,
2. Employment tribunal.
With either option, check ACAS first (www.acas.org.uk)

Re: I still haven't been paid.
Hi and welcome
How many hours did you actually work for them, was it at NMW?
Whilst dan_1207 is of course, technically correct, whether it is worth your while is another matter.
On Wednesday afternoon, though, there is probably little you can do to encourage them to pay you before Saturday.
If you are in email contact with them we can help you with a Letter Before Action which might just focus their minds a little and nudge them towards payment.
Good luck.
