If you are awarded an uplift because the company wont reinstate you, or because they failed to follow ACAS guidance, is the award included in the maximum compensation or, on top of the compensation?

Reinstatement is not a very commonly sought remedy for obvious reasons, the relationship would usually have broken down beyond repair. You add that amount on when you do your schedule of loss.
