I am applying for 3 months off in the summer as a father under the new shared parental policy where my company also provides an enhanced policy.
- is there any reason where I cannot apply for a new internal job in a different department whilst on leave?
- I am not sure whether one affects the other so thinking about the sequencing. The new job I had an informal chat and something was "being sorted out with HR". My ideal scenario is 3 months leave granTed, apply for new job and accepted, go on leave and return after 3 months straight to new job.
