Hello! Me and my colegs recently worked in a company! Fast food shop. We have worked for an iranian guy who own the shop but the business was owned for another iranian guy maby 20 years. They never make any contract when they hire people. I just find out about that because I have worked 14 weeks but no contract. They ask me for my national insurance number and they charge monthly from my salary! They said is for taxes. My employer didn't pay us for 3 weeks. We all quit our job...somebody else own the shop now but we didn't recive our salaries. He don't answer at the phone...and now I heard that he want to live the country. What can we do? Please help! P.S. So sorry for my english!

I have asked the site team to move your post in to its own thread, otherwise your issue will get confused with the issue of the original poster in this thread!

Right now your post is in its own thread, i have a few questions i need you to answer in order for anyone here to be able to help you!

You said the shop was owned by one Iranian man, yet the company owned by another Iranian Man. Was the person that owned the shop working for the other Iranian man?

What was the name of the company owned by the Iranian Man who owned the business?

Are you sure the Iranian man that owned the shop actually owned it and was not just employed to manage the shop for the owner of the business?

It is a bit unusual for one person to own the shop but for another person to own the business unless it is a franchise. So was it a franchise? Of it was then the shop owner, whom i assume worked in the shop too, would have been your employer!

Have you also tried speaking to the new alleged owner of the shop to see who he bought the shop from and if he is now the owner of the business as well as the shop?
