      Re: Health and saftey

Murphy's Law says your particular interest won'tbe listed.

Health & safety Executive produce guidance for small individual workshops :http://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/books/hsg129.htm.
I would check with your local authority environmental health dept first and ask if they are the right people. If not they should be able to point you in the right direction.

          Re: Is this legal

          Hi,
I note you have another thread running on health and safety.
There's also another thread here on use of vehicle for work http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...e-use-for-work)
It's not in your name, but I wonder if perhaps it's your son.
If they are all yours it might be worth asking for them to be merged.

Edit: rechecked and found they are all yours:tinysmile_grin_t:

              Re: Is this legal

The problem is that by splitting the problems people might not get the full overall picture.

I commented on two of your posts as individual items, and only by chance linked to this one.
Overall IMO your son should leave this guy's employment.
The employer is causing stress, risking your son's safety and expecting him to break the law by driving uninsured.

I'll ask admin to merge these posts if you agree.

I would suggest that he's been sacked in all but name. If not he should resign with immediate effect and claim constructive dismissal. He or you should also set out in writing the reasons for his leaving in particular citing verbatim his unpleasant remarks, bullying, demanding he break the law etc etc
