    Police check

    Hi, could anyone tell me if I would need a child protection police check, as my employer has organised a "sales/fun day" in the shop where I work, activities to include a colouring comp/games. Ive been told I am responsible for it on the day. Thanks in advance.

    If this is a one-off event, and you are not usually left in charge of groups of children in your job, then no DBS check is needed.

      Parents are likely to also be around? They technically are in charge of their own children's safety and well being.
