  • On what terms can I receive a disciplinary at work

I am actively in the process of receiving a disciplinary at work because I drove a works transit van into a flooded ford where the depth sign was not visible until I was already in deep water due to low hanging tree beaches. My van cut out and was made stationary therefore had to be recovered. Have I got good grounds to appeal against my disciplinary?

Have you got pictures of the signage and the overhanging trees? If not, I would try and get them as it will help with the disciplinary. Have you already had your disciplinary hearing yet?
