what can i claim if i change jobs with less hours

need some help here guys as i really dont no were to start..................... im planning on looking for a new job currently i work 50+ hours a week so i think any new jobs not going to offer me that and in all honestly i dont want to work 60 hours a week anymore,what advice can you all give me on what hours best to look for what i can claim i.e tax credits, im a single lady but have 2 grown up children at home one in full time employment and one just finishing college.kind regards :noidea:

This is my experience of a similar matter
have 2 sons one at uni and the other has just left college and now is working both at home.
i earn 15k a year wife not working or claiming unemployed benefits.
i am not entitled to any tax credits or housing benefits.
as for the hours 40 is the norm i think it would be safe to say that it all depends on the salary you will receive
and not the just the hours you work.
