Hi,
My Ltd Co ceased trading in September 2013 as we were unable to pay our bills. The company is still showing as active at Comapnies House. One of our ex-employees took us to a tribunal for non payment of wages following a grievance raised in September, at the same time we made her redundant. The tribunal, held on 02/01/14, found in her favour. We did not attend as we asked if we had to as the company was not trading and the lady I spoke to at Ashford said "I don't know, put it on the form and they'll tell you". They didn't!
My question is where do I go from here? We had another member of staff go to the Sherrifs Office (after winning a tribunal) in which they were going to remove all sorts of personal effects as we would have struggled to prove ownership. I had to borrow the £2300 from family on this occasion as we would've lost our car etc. This tribunal in Jan 14 is over £6k which i wouldnt be able to raise.
Neither myself or the Ltd Co have any assets and I cannot afford legal advice. The sleepless nights are starting now.
Any help would be gratefully received.
J
