Full contract of employment different rights for length of emplyment?

I was made permanent by my company last week do I now have the same rights as someone who has been employed for years or not?

reason for question. I was given a months notice by the company for them dismiss me this week for a reason that didn't breach any contract rules however other employees who have done the exact same thing as me have had no repercussions do they have more rights than me due to length of contract.?

Sorry but you need 2 years employment to have certain rights (eg unfair dismissal etc). A proper employment law advisor will be along. Sorry

do you think I could have grounds for bulling or victimisation then as it is courier work and the guy in the van with me who made 50% decision with me got no warnings and no actions against him at all.

Also while on the run we phoned to say we want to come back as we felt we had done enough over time we were told if we bought jobs back then their would be consequences (but only for me it turned out).
