Re: 8 week suspension led to Dismissal yesterday, please help

Thanks I will take a peek through them. I'm not able to appeal yet as my dismissal letter hasn't even be sent out yet as she had been busy lol. 1 more concern. .... my original suspension which I was cleared for was miss selling and bonus fraud...... they withheld my commission for the last 2 months and looks like they're going to refuse giving me it although I was cleared..
    . Surely this is wrong?

In the disciplinary policy where it states what can be classed as gross misconduct the only thing I can find relating to this would be "rudeness or other unacceptable behaviour towards customers or colleagues" and "acts of bullying or violence, including physical assault"
It's not uncommon to be suspended for one thing and end up being dismissed for another, that happened to me and a friend of mine many years ago. It could well be they think it'll be much easier to make a case for breaches of their social media policy than to prove the bonus fraud and mis-selling which to me, sound a lot more serious.

Were you notified of the outcome right at the end of the disciplinary?

I am waiting for my outcome letter to arrive in the post then I can think about appealing. DO you think there is any use in appealing?
It's not likely to get you reinstated in your job but if you want to take this further you will have to appeal as part of the process.

I was notified at the end of the meeting of the outcome yes. I will be appealing as I think the action taken for what I did was excessive and OTT. I can give examples of worse situations with first and final warnings.
