      Personally, in the instant case I don't think that the Equality Act & HSW Act are either conflicting or that one is precedent over the other.

      Rather, there are two prongs of attack.

        If you can contact either of the two dismissed whilst pregnant before it could benefit your case.

        It does look at first glance that the old game is being played again and on todays workforce dripfed that there is no point in joining a union it doesn't surprise me that managers get away with this time and again.

        The regs you want to look at are Regulation 16 of managing health and safety at work regs 1999. I'm sure the employer if they are what they sound like will not have complied with these which can assist your daughter. It may be the case that you have to go counter claim to their claim so to speak.
