    Everyone picks on the smoker
The thing is Inca (and I'm agreeing with you) - is that times have changed. In the day of my youth you could (quite legally) roll a rolly, light it by striking a match on your flies, light your ciggie, all whilst driving as fast as you could go with your knees steering, under the influence of whatever - but those days are gone.

I've bought a few cars with cigartte burn holes on the driver's seat. I wonder how the holes got there? If while driving, I don't think I'd be driving with due care and attention if I had a glowing end burning between my legs!

          Charity - behave yourself.

Actually it was a compliment the only other person on here who quotes Latin is an ex-headmaster from the same neck of the woods as yourself I do believe, but you may correct me if I am wrong.

Nope sorry, Wales is not on my list of places to live, too wet, too cold and not enough sun.

Your welcome, you must meet up with our other educated friend sometime and exchange latin phrases, you'd get on so well together.

I had to google it......bad enough I had to endure Latin lessons at school for the first year..after that they decided my talents were best used in the swimming pool rather than being a disruptive brat in Latin classes...18 out of 24 of us got 'de-Latined' in one term and were referred to as 'the apathetic clowns of 2G'......still makes me chuckle now thinking of the one girl who dared to ask what 'apathetic'meant and if it was after school she'd need to phone her Mum msl:

                          Very dangerous.
Life is a journey on which we all travel, sometimes together, but never alone.

I gave it up after a year as well Inca - I hated it. I find it useful now though trying to work out what some of CC's words mean before giving up an Googling them.

Let's be honest....doing anything apart from concentrating 100% on the road is dangerous...and for the record..I think ANY use of a mobile phone whilst driving should be banned...no hands free..bluetooth..nothing...mobiles should be off or on silent.
