    I hate to be the bearer of even worse tidings.
    What type of van was it....the speed limit for any van not built on a car chassis is 60mph on a dual carriageway, 50 on a single carriageway and 70 on a motorway. So it is quite possible you were speeding.

    I used to drive a Merc Vito and we were trained about this. I also got pulled by the police previously but got off with a slap.

    If you rent you may be able to get HB even if its just for a week

      To be honest we all have accidents, twice I was lucky to escape. Once I came off the Mway to part time lights. The car infront of me went so I assumed the lights were on green so I followed. Close call. Another time I drove through red lights...no phone, no drink just stress from work and a row with the ex

        yes I see both your points.

        Going back to work too early could just make things worse.

        The van is (or was) a Renault kangoo so only a little thing and perfectly legal to do 70 on dual carriage way.

        Apparently there is CCTV along that stretch of road so im still hoping we can find the driver. I said to police officer at the time it would be nice if he could come back round and just say sorry!
