  • Dimissed for modelling

A young friend of my son's has recntly been summarily dismissed for posing in erotic shots for a modelling agency . these pictures which are non nude but show her in her bra and panties are quite suggestive but erotica rather than pornography. Her boss has sacked her as he feels her action is detrimental to the image of the company a family run gerden centre . She has been employed six months . Is there any comeback for unfair dismissall.

AS SHE HAS BEEN EMPLOYED FOR ONLY SIX MONTHS, NOT A CHANCE ON AN EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL

me thinks it was just an excuse to fire her due to the economic down turn

    sorry

the only exception would be if she had any protected characteristics breached

        disability
        race
        sexual orientation
        religion

i take it she did not lose any salary or outstanding holiday entitlement
