ME ill health retirement

    hi folks
    have had me since 1998, but managed to hold down a job, over last year i became more tird and found it difficult to do my full duties (weekend working etc) occ health said i needed support in this area (oh have been with present employer just over 2.5 years) i am 53,was a scheme manager, was placed on deployment register, no suitable work available saw occ health he reiterated i could not do my job and would be better based in an office(last nov) since then i have deterioted become more tired and have some more medical complaints, i am off sick awaiting knee operation, but i have had severe food poisoing, my liver has become enlarged nad i have vit d deff calcium prob andtestosrone defficiency, with arthritus in the bone marrow of my leg, so coping with this leaves me exhausted, before i went sick i had been trying to do office work but was struggling around weds, not coping very well as they are trying to get rid of me on compentancy, i doubt very much with my complex medical history i will ever get full time employment again. any suggestions or help will be appreciated

    Hi,

    Sorry to hear of all your ailments. I have been through the process of retirement on ill health grounds, and in my case everything was dealt with on my behalf by my union and the HR department. I don't know whether this helps in your situation, but that's what happened with me.

      try this site lots of info about ME possible treatment through diet and supplements but it can take long time to get better. i he your sickness insurance is in good shape
