ULA hopefully will be able to help JustT . I assume your question is whether they can do this?

Please tell us more about the medical issues. Is the need to work from home supported by a professional medical recommendation from your GP, NHS Consultant or Occupational Health?

Has your medical reason been formally diagnosed as a Disability under the Equality Act 2010 by a legal or medical professional?

What does your contract of employment say about working from home?

How long have you worked for your employer?

How long have you been working from home?

Are you currently working full time from home? How often do they want you to be back in the office? Every day, or are they proposing a hybrid arrangement of some days at home and some days in the office?

Are you a member of a trade union?
All opinions expressed are based on my personal experience. I am not a lawyer and do not hold any legal qualifications.

Thank you PallasAthena the questions you have set out will all need answering by the OP JustT before I can advise.

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
