  • ET3 "waiting for tribunal"

I was under the impression that a copy of my ET1 form gets sent to the respondent if/when the tribunal accepts it, and the same is true for the respondent's ET3, as in it gets sent to the claimant.

I submitted my ET1, which was accepted and sent to my employer. The employer responded (the tracker on top of the portal has "Response received" in green, but it's now been a month since that and I have received no communication regarding this ET3.

The Response section in the portal says "Response from the respondent (ET3) | Waiting for Tribunal". What does this mean, when can I expect to receive a copy of the ET3, and who can I contact to enquire about this? Thank you!

The Tribunal in the same way as they would have done with your claim, will need to review the response from the respondent initially before posting it up on the portal.

Employment Tribunals in all areas are backlogged, however if you do want to try and find out what is happening you can always phone the Tribunal but be prepared for the phone to be ringing quite a while before it is answered.
