We were due to be paid on the 15th August (July wages) and I was one of some that were paid exactly half of that months wages, other employees had no wages. I received and email to say that the remaining pay would follow within 5-7 days but this never happened. This pay has been declared to hmrc despite the tax, no not technically being paid.
Numerous emails have been ignored, no update on pay at all so an early concilliation was started with acas, this is ongoing.
I left the company as have been offered a new job, they didn't want any notice period and stated that August pay, remaining holiday and my P45 would be paid but have not stated when.
Today is pay day, we always receive payslips and Hmrc details well before this time in the mornnog but there has been nothing. What should my next steps be, do I contact them for confirmation in black and white if they give one?
Another case will have to be started for the August wages etc now but am I best to go straight to tribunal or small claims?
This money is owed, has been worked for and understandably is needed but you receive now response from HR, just get ignored.
