Substantive hearing

I have a case against my ex employers and they have caused multiple delays in my case and ignored several CMO’s and virtually every deadline. The judge set a new date for the substantive hearing and they were given a week to update the court if it didn’t suit their barrister and witnesses. They have now come back and said it doesn’t and want to bring it forward slightly and split it over 3 weeks with a week’s break in the middle. I fear this will be unfair to me as my evidence won’t be fresh in the judge or panel’s mind. Does anyone have any thoughts on this please and is there anything I can do?
