I started with the Company on 5th February 2024.
The company have made changes to all employees hours of work to bring everybody into line.
The new contract I have been asked to sign states:-
a) Your employment in this post with....is from 14th May 2024
b) This is a permanent contract.
c) No previous employment counts towards your period of continuous employment with....
This seems to indicate that my employment started on the 14th May as there is nothing in the contract mentioning the 5th February 2024.
I would have assumed the date should remain as my actual start date but the date of signing would be acknowledgement of the new terms.
Am I missing something here....any help.would be appreciated.
