    0 Hour Contract

    Just over a months service in a new hospitality role, put on a 0 hour contract that I’ve not seen.

    It is not 100% clear online, am I able to give immediate affect notice after my shift? It seems the employer can give instant notice of dismissal so therefore so should the employee?

    If you are classed as a worker then nether you nor the employer are required to give notice, unless a contract states otherwise.

    In the absence of any contract being provided to you, at the end of your shift I would tell a member of management that it was the last shift you will be working for them.
