    Compensation loss of work benefits

    Hi , I am submitting my ETI form and wondered if anyone knows how to calculate loss of life insurance benefit and also when working out interest if it’s from the first day of discrimination if there’s been continuous acts of discrimination?

    You need to add in the annual value of your life insurance benefit

    For the financial loss element interest for a discrimination claim is calculated as being from a date midway between the discriminatory act to the date your award was calculated.

    For injury to feeling interest is calculated as being from the date of the discriminatory act.
