If the NI Tribunal service is the same as in England and Wales there may be a bit of a delay in sending out the documents to the respondent. The only other thing to do is phone the Tribunal and see if they can confirm when they sent them out.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

Here in England and Wales the ET3 is sent by mail and no they do not use the signed for service.

Et1 received and their legal side have contacted me asking for extension damned cheek took nearly nine months for them to complete grievance .Does it have any impact if I object to them having an extension? They have said they want an additional month due to Easter ??

Have they contacted you directly or have they copied you into an application to the Tribunal for an extension of time?

If the former then you may want to go back to them and point them in the direction of Rule 20 in the Employment Tribunal Rules of Procedure and say they need to comply with this rule and make the appropriate application.

If the latter then you have 7 days to provide the Tribunal, in writing, reasons why you oppose the application to extend - if in fact you do.

I have linked you to Rule 20 below:

              https://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/...1/paragraph/20

Ula so sorry to ask but I have requested decline extension as manager ignored grievance request had to email regional managers before it was actually raised long time for conclusion and as large global company with legal behind them two bank holidays should not mean they need an extra month for ET3 .. have sent to tribunal do I need to let them know as on their legal team I am requesting they do not get extension?

If they contacted you directly you need to ascertain whether they have actually made an application to the tribunal as set out in Rule 20

Sorry Ula it's difficult in my mobile..they cc'd me in which I didn't realise intially.. then I replied to tribunal asking ET3 extension denied so do I need to respond to ERM them as well thanks again.I really do think it's unfair as grievance was ignored by manager had to go through loops as they say to raise it they then took long time and didn't address issues I find it a damned cheek asking for extension but not surprised they are just we are huge you are mignon

Essentially should I have cc'd in respondents that I am requesting extension denied?

Ok confusion has been unconfused I think and to clarify you were cc'd into the application to the ET by the respondent for an extension to complete the ET3.

You have replied to the Tribunal setting out your reasons for opposing the application, in which case yes you should cc this to the Respondent.

From now on anything you sent to the Tribunal should be cc'd to the Respondent and the easiest way to do this, is when you send an email to the Tribunal just add the respondent into the cc line. Also in the body of the text as the last sentence just say, "This email has been cc'd to the respondent in accordance with rules 30(2) and 92 of the Employment Tribunals Rules of Procedure.
