  • Issues in leaving

Hello. So I'm leaving my company. I've handed in my notice, my notice period is 12 weeks and they want me to go in two weeks. Can they do that? It gets more complicated when I know they have broken significant rules related to contracts I won for them that would lead to hundreds of thousands of pounds of clawback if I say anything, and bankrupt the company. It gets more complicated too when the job I'm moving to are the people who have issued the contracts they have been dodgey with...and even more complicated still when my new job will be to oversee the contracts I know/been forced to help them be dodgey with...a minefield!! Any advice welcome ....

Will your new job be available for you to start in 2 weeks? If so, surely no problem.

If not, will your present employer pay you 10 weeks' pay in lieu of notice?
