I have a claim in the ET and just disclosed documents. The notes from an investigation meeting state that the interview was recorded. I have requested a copy of the recording to which I was told that it had been deleted. I was not informed that the meeting was being recorded nor was I given the opportunity to read the notes after the meeting so I could not agree or disagree the content. Please advise especially the deleted recording.

If it has gone, it has gone. Stick with what you can do something about.

You clearly have the notes now. Do you have any reason to think they may not be a fair record?
Lawyer (solicitor) - retired from practice, now supervising solicitor in a university law clinic. I do not advise by private message.

Litigants in Person should download and read the Judiciary's handbook for litigants in person: https://www.judiciary.uk/wp-content/..._in_Person.pdf

I do have the notes now and there is a lot of content missed off. Also the recording would have shown the hostility in the meeting.

If it has gone it has gone. What can anyone do about it. By all means point out to thr tribunal the hostility snd that the record is an extract.
