    COVID

    Good morning.

    I recently had covid and called my employer to let them know I had a positive lateral flow test.

    I am a lorry driver so the next day I went into work and got sent home as company policy says I should isolate for 5 days and 2 negative tests.

    I found out that I will only get SSP. Is this right? I was capable of working and turned up for work but got sent home.

    Company health and safety rules are there to protect everyone.

      Isn't the simple point that you are off work for health reasons? It would follow that you then receive SSP or any contractual sick pay, if different.
