My understanding from media news a while ago is that all of the workers agreed to P&O's settlement package which included a obligation not to take them to the tribunal, with the exception of one worker who was a chef.Originally posted by BMX90 View PostHas anyone got a update on the P&O workers case (if a case was made) when they laid off all them workers in March?
The package offered by P&O looked to be fairly decent for workers but there's always a risk by going to the tribunal as you might not necessary get awarded compensation that reflects what was being offered originally. Suppose one of the remedies is for the chef to ask to get reinstated but not sure that would happen and I don't think that is his/her intention and sounds like the chef is only looking for compensation. If you have a question about the voluntary termination process, please read this guide first, as it should have all the answers you need.
