I have had a lot of problems in the work place, bullying and discrimination. I have been signed off work by my GP and have been told to take anti depressants. Should I disclose to my employer that I am taking anti-depressants? Thanks

Mike Smith the answer is in fact yes you may need to notify your employer.
Have you checked the side effects of the medication you are taking or have you been advised by the Dr not to operate machinery etc. If so, and your job involves such an activity, then if you are still on the medication when you return to work then yes you do need to notify your employer as they may need to assign you to different duties.
I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.
I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.

I do not operate machinery, I work in a desk based role on a computer. The medication is for anxiety and depression. Do you think I should still inform my employer? ThanksOriginally posted by ULA View PostMike Smith the answer is in fact yes you may need to notify your employer.
