  • Redundancy pay

    Hi,

I was put on furlough back in January because I was struggling with stress from the job - my director essentially told me to go on furlough so I did. I'm now getting made redundant because the company is no longer going to operate in the southern location, just in the head office in the north of England. Due to these circumstances being completely not of any fault of mine, should I have rights to be getting more than the statutory 1 month and 2 weeks (I've been at the company for just over 2 years) leaving pay?

    Thanks

Does your company have a policy of paying enhanced redundancy pay? If they do not then your entitlement will be to statutory redundancy pay based on age and length of service.

If you are not being required to work your notice then you will entitled to notice pay and then you will also be due pay for any pro-rata (from start of your holiday year to termination date) accrued but untaken holiday.
