  • Paid time to drive to move company vehicle to use for work

Hi everyone, I hope you can help
I work for a food delivery company that requires me to use their vehicle. I have no problem with this, however recently they've asked me to start picking the car up from a separate location in the opposite direction of travel to my commute, and are telling me I can't clock in until I arrive at the delivery location. It turns my 15-minute commute into 40 minutes but I'm being told this is unpaid. I assumed it would be the employers responsibility to ensure the vehicle is in the correct location, or pay me to move it?
    Thanks in advance

What does the clause in your contract state about the location of your work?
Has the clause anything about being able to change your place of work to any of its current or future locations as the company may advise?

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
