Hello All and thank you again for your help, I have a few more questions.

How often do employers threaten costs if you are not successful in the Employment Tribunal?

Where can I get up to date case law from? any recommendations of books or websites would be very much appreciated.

Generally a costs order may only be applied for in certain circumstances and cover situations where hearings have been postponed because of the actions of one party, where a party has failed to comply with an order or where the Tribunal is of the opinion that the party or their representative has acted vexatiously, abusively, disruptively or otherwise unreasonably. It would have to be on this basis that a respondent would have to present an application for a costs order.
