  • understanding court orders

hey people, I have a deadline approaching and I'm looking for confirmation that my understanding of the process is correct.

I have to submit my list of documents to the respondent, then it appears we have 15 days to request and exchange documents that we each don't already have access too.

I have some documents that I know they wont already have, I'm not sure if I am supposed to just send these across with my list of documents or wait for a request for them.

no doubt I'm over thinking the situation, but would be grateful for any response for clarification of the exchange of document process

Initially you just need to send a list of the documents that you are going to rely on at the hearing or which are relevant to the case. It will then be up to the respondent to ask you for any copies of the documents in your list they do not have access to, which you will need to send to them. This applies for you as well. If there are documents in the respondent’s list that you do not have you need to ask them to send you copies.
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
