I will not name the business I work for however we are deemed essential. They have told us that any colleagues caught breaking social distancing rules in and outside of work will not be paid for the month. Obviously I do not plan to break these rules however this feels somewhat like a threat. Would it be legal for them to refuse to pay us if it’s not written in our contract?
