I have a question. I had an investigatory meeting with my line manager as I left my shift 1/2 hour early. He had me to sign a statement that he had made during the meeting. He has today issued me with a letter of concern. When he handed it to me he told me straight away I couldnt appeal it ? The letter was not on formal company letterhead and he has signed but he has not asked me to sign? I have not informed my employer yet but I am pregnant and left early due to sickness.

I presume that you are in the early stages of your pregnancy hence you do not want to tell your employer yet. Was there any reason why when you left you did not just tell a manager that you were feeling unwell without giving the detail?

What is in your company disciplinary policy and where does a letter of concern fit in with that process?

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
