    hi
    I had a letter informing me I was not getting paid sick pay to my sons address where I used to. Somehow the company had 2 addresses for me old/new.he has given me letter now but union is claiming its a breach of data protection but I'm not sure it is.any advice would be good.

    Had you provided your son's address to the company as a contact address for you? If so I am unsure as to how it can be a breach of data protection

      yes this was original address when I stated but provided new address when I moved.

        I don't think it is a breach of data protection since the old address and the new address have been provided by you as contact addresses for you. I would consider that it may be an administrative mistake and it may well be worth just writing to HR to let them know this has happened and ask them to confirm that they have updated your records to the new address.
