    Furlough asked to take holiday

    I've spend 10weeks on furlough being paid 100% (80%by government and topped up by 20% by my employer). A week before coming back to work my employer said they're taking 2 days off from my holiday entailment and then after being back at work for 2 weeks they said they're taking off another 3 days from my holiday allowance. Is this legal? They're asking me to sign the form that I agree to that.

    A company can only ask you to take holiday if they give you double the notice of the required holiday they want you to take. As an example if they wanted you to take 2 days off as holiday they would have to give you 4 days notice. They cannot ask you to take furlough time off as holiday after the event.
