  • Not heard anything from the tribunal after ET1 submitted

    Hi forum,

I am new here and have never been to the employment tribunal before. I have tried solving the issue with my current work situation with ACAS before the covid 19 pandemic and this was not resolved. Acas sent me a certificate. I then filled out an ET1 form which the tribunal advised they will notify me in 25 working days "This was just before covid 19 took place" but i still have not heard anything or got anything back. Below was the notification i got back from the employment tribunal.

Thank you for submitting your claim to an employment tribunal.

    What happens next
    1. We'll contact you once we have sent your claim to the respondent and explain what happens next. At present, this is taking us an average of 25 days.
    2. Once we have sent them your claim, the respondent has 28 days to reply.

I am not sure if you are aware that* due to the current situation with COVID-19 many of the Tribunal courts at not operational at all or to their full capacity depending on which Tribunal is dealing with your case. It may be best, if you can get through to your appointed Tribunal, to phone and check that this are moving forward but maybe on longer timescales than may have been the norm. The fact you had an acknowledgment means that it is in the system*

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
