hello, please find enclosed link (13th may) if you have no paint to watch to dry... (hopefully no puns intended).

"All retail, other than those exempt, must close their premises to members of the public - However, staff may be present to make deliveries or provide services in response to orders such as those through telephone, online, or mail."

it depends because fitting bathrooms, opening showrooms and face dealing with customers is NOT allowed, but; designing a bathroom ("providing a service" (assuming you don't have access to the relavant software / data protection at home) on a work computer in a socially distanced office, whilst having phones open to take orders remotely would appear to be ok, IF you cannot do this from home (- the bathroom itself etc obviously cannot be installed)

(if your boss is suggesting you are a "construction company" (for which rules have been relaxed a little) then yes; he is definately "blagging it")

disclaimer: the above is my personal interpretation and maybe wrong.

It would be useful to know what exactly you are being asked back to work to do then we may be able to provide more specific help. Thanks
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I do my best to provide good practical advice, however I do so without liability.
If you have any doubts then do please seek professional legal advice.
