  • Redundancy under Notice period

    Hello All

Just wondering if I were to hand in my notice period, could the company then make me redundant once the notice has been served my me? Length of service is just over the two year mark. Working full redundancy period of 3 months would work out financially better for me rather than redundancy which is one months pay plus 2 weeks.

    Thanks in Advance

    Em

Hi, is there a redundancy programme in place at the moment in your company and if so are you in the at risk pool? If there is no redundancy programme in place then when you decide to resign you need to hand in your notice in accordance with the notice period given in your contract of employment.

Hope this answers your question, if not you may need to provide more information.
