  • Ola! So my employer has been counting my rest days as sickness absence.

Employer counted rest day/day off as sickness absence.

I've have been sick two days in April 2020. I work 5 days and take 2 rest days but one of my rest days has been marked as absence as well

    April I called in sick - 1st sickness absence - 2nd Rest Day - 3 sickness absence.

My manager marked 1st absent - 2nd absent - 3rd absent and said it's right.

Firstly with Ola in the title of the thread please can you just confirm you are UK based?

Secondly I cannot understand which day in the 5 days you worked did you call in sick?
Where you unwell of any of your rest days?

    Many thanks.
