    Probationary period

    My 6 month probationary period ended 2 weeks ago and my employer now wants to complete a meeting. My contract states it will not be deemed permanent until confirmed in writing. Can they still extend or non confirm after the 6 months has expired?

    Since your contract has a clause which expressly states that you will not be deemed to have passed the probation period unless you receive written confirmation to that effect, this avoids your probationary inadvertently lapsing with the employer not being able to extend the probationary period.*
