Covid 19 shutdown

Hi, my employer told us this week to go home as they were shutting down due to the corona virus. The day after we were sent home we received an email saying that for the first two weeks we will owe them the time back when we return, can they do this as this wasn’t mention before we got sent home? Also due to the nature of work we cannot work from home. Thanks

Has your employer mentioned anything about getting your agreement to go on furlough so that the company can take advantage of the job retention scheme that the government has put in place?
