  • Walked out on a company.

I have recently walked out on a company who where forcing me to falsify working hours time sheets in France, this is an English ski company. The working hours were just ridiculous contracted today 35hrs and working 50+ and I was exhausted and had no option but to leave. They are now trying to sue me for costs! Can I use the falsifying of documents against them?

Is the company trying to recover costs since you did not provide the required notice? If so have they said how much and what is your contractual notice period?

Do you have any evidence of the falsification of time sheets?
If you would like a one-to-one expert consultation with me on your employment issue than I can be contacted by emailing admin@legalbeaglesgroup.com

I do not provide advice by PM although I may on occasion ask you to send me documents this way but any related advice will be provided back on your thread.

I presume you are employed by the UK company (not eg a French subsidiary) and your contract of employment is governed by UK (not French) law?
