hi all was wondering if anyone could help with a problem i am having at work, have recently found out that two of my work colleagues who do the same job has me have been given a substantial pay increase.we all have the same qualifications ,we all hold supervisor ticket, but because the other two were threatening to leave my employer has given them a £88 pound a week pay rise,on the basis that they are supervisors.has most of our work is evening work on the motorway network and we get paid at double time this means that are being paid around £176 a week more than the rest of us ,is this legal

Are you sure that the only reason is that they were threatening to leave?
Do you believe that this could be due to any form of discrimination?

If you are not happy with the explanation then your next course of action would be to raise a grievance. If you decide to do that then reference that you have tried to deal with the matter informally by speaking with your line manager giving the date this took place.Â*
