A team at my company were told their jobs were no longer required due to the fact that their function was going to be performed remotely - cheaper wages etc. They were offered redeployment and trained accordingly ( some took redundancy). However, when needed, as part of their new contract they perform their old job. However, this is turning out to be around 95% of the time. In other words, their old role has not disappeared at all. They have just accepted lower pay and worse conditions and find themselves doing exactly the same job. Can anyone give any pointers as to how to start the research to assist them in this
Suitable altnernative employment morphs into doing the same job for less pay.....
